Well now, here we go. I got a “big girl” camera for Christmas. Its an Olympus Digital E-M10 Mark II and I’m loving it. I took some photography classes in college when I had one of those 35mm’s that you had to shoot rolls of film and then wait to develop the pictures to see what you got. I remember most of the basics: aperature, shutter speed, film sensitivity, etc and I feel that I certainly have an artist eye when it comes to composing my pictures. But I wanted to go beyond pointing this new little baby on Auto so it’s off to class I go.
First class homework: shoot on Manual in bright afternoon with sun behind me. My subject: anything stationary. Then try to achieve the correct exposures by experimenting with F-stop, shutter speed and ISO.
Here’s what I turned in. They are all different exposures with different combinations:#PhotographyClass #FlyingPig #F-stop
